about as uplifting as gravity

Lots of old virtual faces fading in from the woodwork.  It is nice to catch up and to remember what community we had. Sad to note that it is largely gone.

Housemate's mother shows up every 6 weeks or so and stays for a week or so.  She is here and there was no advance notice.  When I got home from the farmers' market, she was fully ensconced in the microscopic kitchen, so I couldn't work, and started up a conversation where she left off last time she was here. I am moving to Crazy E's house for the duration of mom's visit..
